KUWAIT CITY, April 16: A Kuwaiti citizen’s swift action helped thwart a brazen theft attempt at a camel farm stable after he caught a group of intruders in the act of dismantling and stealing equipment, security sources said.
The incident unfolded when a Kuwaiti citizen born in 1998, residing in Sabah Al-Nasser, arrived at his farm and was shocked to see four individuals forcibly breaking into a horse stable made of aluminum and iron structures. The suspects were reportedly using a metal-cutting tool to remove and steal two window air conditioners from inside the facility.
Demonstrating quick presence of mind, the citizen immediately alerted the Ministry of Interior’s operations room and closely observed the suspects, later helping authorities identify four of the alleged perpetrators, all believed to be Bangladeshi nationals born in 1990, 1980, 1966, and 1979.
A fifth accomplice, whose identity remains unknown, was seen driving a gray Mitsubishi Jeep used in the escape. Although the vehicle’s license plate could not be recorded, the detailed information provided by the witness has been handed over to detectives for further investigation.
Authorities are continuing efforts to track down the suspects involved in the attempted theft.
