Kuwaiti Ex-wife raped; Girl missing

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 15: A Kuwaiti woman has lodged a complaint at Sa’ad Al-Abdullah Police Station against her Kuwaiti ex-husband, accusing him of raping her, reports Al-Anba daily.

The complainant, who is an employee of Ministry of Health, said she visited her ex-husband’s house for discussing an issue when he assaulted her and then raped her. However, she refused to be referred to forensics. Bruises were seen on her arms. A case has been registered against the suspect.

Girl missing: Jahra police are looking for a girl who was reported missing by her father, reports Al-Anba daily. The father said his daughter, who is a student of a foreign university in Kuwait, suffers from psychological problems and has been receiving treatment from the Psychology Medicine Hospital. He revealed that his daughter went to live in the house of her friend for a day or two, but did not return home for almost a week.
