KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18, (Agencies): A Kuwaiti entrepreneur launched the world's first global legal website using artificial intelligence on October 18, 2023. The Kuwaiti innovator, Khalid Al Rashid, introduced the "Oqod" (“Contracts”) platform at GITEX Global 2023 in Dubai. This platform operates in both Arabic and English and is designed for lawyers, legal consultants, judges, business owners, and law students worldwide.

Khalid Al Rashid, the CEO of the platform, stated that the "Oqod" platform was developed by technology experts and is currently in its trial phase. It offers a groundbreaking experience by allowing users to access multiple laws, suggestions for law modifications, contractual agreements, regulatory documents, and legal materials with just a single click.

The platform utilizes generative artificial intelligence, which can provide users with various laws, suggestions for amending laws, contracts, regulatory guidelines, legal documents, articles, judicial decisions, and more. This is a unique and unparalleled legal technology.

Al Rashid pointed out the growing global demand for legal technology, necessitating the development of new mechanisms to reduce costs and time spent on legal tasks. He highlighted the fact that legal professionals can significantly enhance their productivity and services by harnessing artificial intelligence, ultimately promoting equal access to justice.

It is worth mentioning that "Oqod" began development in 2022 as a legal platform powered by artificial intelligence and will eventually include support for all languages.
