AMMAN, Oct 18: The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Jordan participated Saturday in the 61st edition of the Annual International Diplomatic Corps Charity Bazaar, organized by Mabarrat Um Al-Hussein Charity Association in coordination with accredited diplomatic missions and under the supervision of the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Al-Marri said in a statement to KUNA that the embassy’s participation reflects Kuwait’s enduring commitment to humanitarian and charitable work, as well as its broader efforts to promote social solidarity with the most vulnerable segments of society.

“This bazaar is not only a charitable initiative but also an opportunity for cultural exchange and a platform to showcase the heritage and traditions of participating countries,” Al-Marri noted.

He emphasized that Kuwait’s participation aligns with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ policy of encouraging embassies worldwide to engage in activities that merge humanitarian efforts with cultural understanding.

The event, held under the patronage of HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal, highlighted Jordan’s strong commitment to philanthropy. In appreciation, Ambassador Al-Marri and the embassy staff presented an honorary shield to Princess Basma in recognition of her continued support for charitable causes and her long-standing contributions to the Um Al-Hussein Charity.
