Kuwaiti duo win first place in two categories at Emirates Jet Ski Championship

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 11: Competitors Ahmed Al-Dawas and his son Rashid Kasi won first place in the Emirates Endurance Championship for Jet Skis in two categories of races that concluded Sunday in Abu Dhabi. Contestant Ahmed Al-Dawas, in a telephone conversation with Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), expressed his happiness for achieving the first place in the veterans category, and his son Rashid ranked first in the standing category. More than 50 contestants took part in this sport.

Al-Dawas praised the good organization of the championship by the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club under the supervision of the Emirates Marine Sports Federation, especially the commitment to the technical and organizational aspects, which contributed to the success of the championship and its appearance in the desired way.

He further stated that their participation during the past weeks in more than one tournament had a great impact on bringing into the atmosphere of the tournament and contributed to achieving these advanced and distinguished positions.

He stated that they will leave the day after tomorrow for Thailand to participate in the annual international championship, which will start from the 14th to the 18th of this month, as it is considered the second largest water bike championship after the World Championship in the United States and under the umbrella of the International Federation of the game. It is noteworthy that the competitor, Rashid Al-Dawas, achieved first place a week ago in the (NGB) category in the closing round of the 2022 UAE Track Racing Championship (KUNA)
