Kuwaiti duo arrested for firing gunshots at fire station

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 12: Two citizens were arrested for accidentally firing a shotgun at the Shaqaya Fire Station while they were hunting birds. According to a security source, the Shaqaya Fire Station in Salmi area was exposed to gunfire from a shotgun. Within a few hours, detectives identified the perpetrators, who admitted that they were hunting birds when they accidentally shot towards the fire station. The two citizens were referred to the concerned authority for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, security sources revealed that the Ministry of Interior is intensifying night security checkpoints on Salmi Road to arrest wanted outlaws, in addition to targeting people who resort to hunting birds during the so-called “crossing” season. By Munaif Naif Al-Seyassah Staff and Agencies
