Kuwaiti drug-pushers nabbed

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 5: Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested two Kuwaitis for allegedly pushing drugs. According to a security source, the arrest came after the CID men received a tip-off from a secret agent following which a team was formed and the suspects were put under surveillance. After monitoring the activities of the suspects their homes were searched and the raiding party found 2.5 kilos of marijuana.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior has denied the reported killing of an Asian inside the Shuwaikh port, reports Al-Seyassah daily. A security source said what happened was a quarrel between a group of people and acting on information a police party rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
