DOHA Dec13 (KUNA): Competitors from Kuwait’s Basil Al-Sabah Car and Motorcycle Racing Club delivered impressive performances in the second round of the Qatar Drift Championship, organized by the Qatar Car and Motorcycle Racing Club at the Drift Circuit.

Kuwaiti drivers dominated the podium, with Ali Muqsaid taking first place, followed by club teammates Mohammed Khorshid in second and Salem Al-Sarraf in third.

Seif Al-Mutairi, Director of Basil Al-Sabah Club, expressed his pride in the results, highlighting the clear Kuwaiti dominance in the second round. He also voiced confidence in the drivers’ ability to continue achieving successes and enhancing the reputation of both the club and Kuwait in regional and international arenas.

Al-Mutairi noted that the first round of the championship, held in October as part of the 2025-2026 season, also saw Salem Al-Sarraf secure third place. He extended his gratitude to the event organizers for their excellent management and hospitality, and to the Public Authority for Sports for its ongoing support of the drivers.

The Qatar Drift Championship consists of five rounds, with the final round scheduled for April.
