KUWAIT CITY, July 4: Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Secretary-General of the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations, revealed today that 95% of doctors in the first year of 23 specialized programs have passed their exams. This success encompasses 357 doctors, both male and female.
In a press statement issued on Thursday, Dr. Al-Mutairi conveyed that Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, Minister of Health, has endorsed these results and extended congratulations to all successful candidates. Dr. Al-Awadhi also commended the efforts of institute authorities, program directors, and supervisors responsible for the training and oversight of these doctors.
The introduction of the "MCQ" exam for first-year doctors, approved during the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization's 72nd Board of Trustees meeting in December 2022, aims to uphold the scientific standards of medical professionals. This initiative is expected to enhance the overall quality and service standards of healthcare institutions across the country.
