KUWAIT CITY, June 8: Dr. Asma Al-Kandari, a Consultant for Internal Medicine, Digestive systems, Hepatology, and Endoscopy at the Ministry of Health, represented Kuwait at the 2024 Annual World Conference on Digestive Endoscopy in Milan, Italy. She was the sole participant from the Middle East, marking a significant achievement for the region.

In an interview with the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Dr. Al-Kandari emphasized the importance of this conference as an educational and interactive platform. She highlighted the opportunity it provides for specialists to learn about the latest global technologies and advancements in gastrointestinal endoscopy.
