SAUDI ARABIA, Nov 27: Ahmed Rashwan, the swimming coach for the Kuwaiti Special Olympics team, successfully completed the regional training course for senior swimming coaches organized by the International Special Olympics. The course concluded in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the active participation of coaches representing 15 Arab countries.

Spanning five training days, the comprehensive course encompassed both theoretical and practical components. Dr. Mustafa Majed Khalil and Dr. Aya Muhammad Hussein played pivotal roles in delivering the course, contributing significantly to the transfer of essential knowledge and skills. The training aimed to equip coaches with the expertise needed to train athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring their familiarity with the regulations governing swimming in the Special Olympics.
