The car of the victim split in two after hitting the sign postKUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: A Kuwaiti citizen died and another sustained serious injuries in a horrific accident that occurred on Fahaheel Expressway near Shaab Al-Bahri on Tuesday evening.In a press statement issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), the General Department of Public Relations and Media explained that the Control Room of KFSD, after receiving information about the car crash on Fahaheel Expressway towards Kuwait City, immediately dispatched a fire team from Salmiya Fire Station along with securitymen and paramedics.Upon arrival, the team discovered that a car had crashed into a sign post. The motorist, a Kuwaiti citizen, had succumbed to serious injuries while another citizen who sustained injuries was referred to the nearest hospital by paramedics. The vehicle was moved from the road and the traffic flow was restored.
