KUWAIT CITY, Oct 4:  The Kuwaiti basketball team defeated the Qatari team with a score of 82-54 in the 35th Arab Club Basketball Championship held in Doha. The Kuwait Club team supervisor, Jaafar Hussein, stated that the players performed well during the match and were able to control the game.

The Kuwait basketball team is the last title holder of the tournament, which increases the players' desire to continue playing strongly and maintain the title. In the same group, Bahraini (Muharraq) defeated Palestinian (Breij Services) with a score of 110-86, and Kuwaiti (Kuwait) will play against (Breij Services) tomorrow, Thursday.

In other matches, the Egyptian "Al-Ahly" defeated the Moroccan "Majd Tangier" (85-71), and the Lebanese "Beirut" defeated the Libyan "Al-Ittihad" (102-82). The Arab Club Basketball Championship started on Sunday and will continue until October 12, with Qatar hosting the event.
