KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: A security officer at the Kuwait International Airport has filed a case with the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station accusing a Kuwaiti for verbally abusing him and assaulting him, reports Al-Rai daily.
In his complaint the officer said this happened when the Kuwaiti went to the airport to receive one of his relatives who had gone to perform Hajj in Saudi Arabia and reportedly entered the restricted area.
The officer, who was controlling the crowd and manning the security cordon the Kuwaiti, when prevented from entering the restricted area, reportedly got annoyed and publicly assaulted the officer.
The man was then seized and taken to the security office for interrogation. Legal action has been initiated against the man.
