Kuwaiti Artists Association opens season with ‘Expression of Gratitude’

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: In celebration of the launch of its artistic and cultural season, the Kuwaiti Artists Association is organizing an evening of “Expressions of Gratitude” on Wednesday. During this event, they will commemorate the contributions of the late singer Abdul Karim Abdul Qadir, known as “The Melancholic Voice,” and the late lyricist Yousif Nasser. The event will take place in the Shadi Al Khaleej Hall, located within the association’s premises in the Mirqab area.

The evening will feature the participation of prominent individuals including Dr. Yousif Al Sarei, the Assistant Undersecretary for Radio Affairs and a researcher in Kuwaiti heritage, the esteemed composer Anwar Abdulla, the respected poet Bander Al Mutairi, and the talented clarinetist Hanaa Al Ashmaawi.
