CAIRO, Sept 17: The Kuwaiti artistic gymnastics team is participating in the Egypt  International Championship, which begins today and runs through September 22.

The delegation arrived in Cairo , led by Fahad Al-Soula, President of both the Kuwaiti and Arab Gymnastics Federations. The squad includes gymnast Abdullah Behbehani, gymnasts Fareeda Al-Shalfan, Fatima Al-Nama, and Dana Hussein, along with team manager Dhiaa Al-Shammari. Also accompanying the team are referees Bader Al-Kandari and Rabab Al-Hares, as well as coaches Vitaly Arseniev and Mostafa Al-Shafie.

Participation in the Pharaohs Championship is part of the federation’s strategy to prepare athletes, enhance their technical skills, and expose them to different levels of competition ahead of upcoming continental and international tournaments.

Recognized for its strong reputation and broad participation, the Pharaohs International Championship represents a key milestone in Kuwait’s gymnastics calendar, helping develop athletes’ abilities and boost their readiness for major future events.
