KUWAIT CITY, June 30: Kuwait's Criminal Security Sector has arrested two suspects, a Kuwaiti citizen and a Bedoun stateless person, for possessing 358 Lyrica tablets along with bladed weapons and items allegedly used for the distribution and consumption of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
The Ministry of Interior said the arrests were carried out by the Department for Combating Human Trafficking and Negative Phenomena as part of ongoing efforts to combat crime and drug-related activities.
The suspects, along with the seized items, were referred to the relevant authorities for legal action.
The ministry reaffirmed its continued security campaigns across the country and its zero-tolerance policy against drug trafficking, distribution, and abuse, urging the public to report any information that could help protect society's security and safety.
