Kuwaiti actress fined for posting immoral videos on Instagram

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 17: The Court of Appeals chaired by Counselor Nasser Salem Aal Heid upheld the decision of the Criminal Court and fined a Kuwaiti actress KD 2,000 for broadcasting videos deemed immoral on her Instagram account.

The Public Prosecution charged the actress based on a lawsuit filed by Attorney Abrar Al-Saleh accusing the actress of inciting her followers to commit immoral acts. The prosecuting officer from Cyber Crime Department testified that the actress was moving her body and hands in a strange manner, which is alien to the Kuwaiti society.
