Top performers honored at the championship’s closing ceremony.

KUWAIT CITY, July 21: The 2025 Kuwait Wushu Kung Fu Championship concluded at the Kuwait Force Academy in Yarmouk Club, under the supervision of the Kuwait Wushu Kung Fu Committee, chaired by Nasser Al-Loughani, and the judging committee led by referee Rashid Al-Ismail.

The championship featured participation from five coaches representing private clubs:

Captain Nour El-Din of the Ding Kung Fu Institute in Dasma, son of the founder of Wushu Kung Fu in Kuwait

Master Khader Ding of the Qim Club

Captain Abdulrahman Al-Turki of the V Gym Club

Captain Ahmed Abduljawad of the Tamimi Tai Chi Club

Captain Dhari Al-Tamimi of the Shining Peaks Club

Captain Mahmoud Salahat

In the medal tally:

V Gym Club secured the gold medal

Qim and Humam Club won silver

Tamimi Tai Chi Club earned bronze

The Ding Kung Fu Institute placed fourth, followed by the Shining Peaks Club in fifth place.
