Kuwait women’s table tennis team secures West Asian Championships bronze

AMMAN, Aug 17 (KUNA): Kuwait’s women’s table tennis team claimed the bronze medal in the senior category at the ongoing West Asian Championships in Jordan.

The Kuwaiti team, comprising Mnouh Al-Shammari, Maryam Al-Halwaji and Khadija Al-Halwaji, finished third in the senior women’s competition to secure the bronze medal.

The event was contested in a league format in accordance with the tournament regulations.

Kuwait is participating in the championship in several age categories for both men and women.

The tournament, which concludes next Thursday, features teams from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Qatar, Jordan, Palestine, Oman, Iraq, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.
