KUWAIT CITY, Mar 9: The General Authority for Food and Nutrition announced a precautionary withdrawal of certain baby milk products produced by Danone Nutricia after follow-up reports via the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) indicated the possible presence of Cereulide, a substance that can pose health risks.
The authority said distribution of all affected batches has been immediately halted, and the products are being withdrawn from the market in coordination with relevant authorities to protect consumer safety. Consumers were urged to check batch numbers on the packaging and stop using any product matching the affected batches, following guidance issued by the General Authority.
