KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: A decree has been issued to revoke the Kuwaiti citizenship of artist Dawood Hussein and singer Nawal Al-Kuwaitiya.
The decree, published in the Official Gazette of Kuwait Ailyom, also applies to those who acquired citizenship through dependency on them.
The Supreme Committee for Nationality Investigation, in its meeting last Thursday, decided to withdraw citizenship from 1,758 individuals. This decision is set to be presented to the Council of Ministers for approval.
