Kuwait win eight medals at U-20 Games West Asian Athletic Association

BEIRUT, July 4: Kuwaiti participants manage to win gold, silver, and two bronze medals on Monday, as the 2nd day of West Asian Athletic Association (WAAA) U-20 Games came to an end. Abdulaziz Minwa reported to KUNA that Bader Swade took first place in the 800m race, while Abdulaziz Al-Dhafiri managed a bronze in the same event. He also added, Hadi Al-Azmi obtained silver in the decathlon category event as Hussein Al- Tamimi wins bronze in the discus throw.

The team had 4 medals on the first day of the games with a gold and silver in the long jump and gold and bronze in the shot-put. Putting the tally at 3 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals as athletes prepare themselves for the third day of events. (KUNA)
