The Kuwaiti team won Saturday the 21st GCC juniors and youth Judo championship, snatching five gold, one silver, and five bronze for a total of 11 medals.
The second and third places belonged to Saudi Arabia and the UAE with Judokas from both nations winning nine and six different medals respectively.
Speaking to KUNA, Vice-President of the Kuwait Judo federation Eid Al-Enezi told KUNA that the Kuwaiti achievement came as a result of the Judokas relentless training and dedication.
He affirmed that Kuwaiti Judokas would hopefully continue to do their best in upcoming tournaments down the line. (KUNA)
