KUWAIT CITY, Sept 16: The Ministry of Health (MoH), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), launched a workshop on Monday to enhance the monitoring of winter respiratory illnesses through the EMFLU platform. Dr. Fahad Al-Ghamlas, Director of the Public Health Department, stated in his opening remarks that the workshop aims to track and manage cases of respiratory illnesses using WHO’s electronic monitoring system, EMFLU.

The workshop, designed for emergency department medical staff, will feature health experts and engineers from both the Ministry and WHO, who will explain the functionalities of the EMFLU digital system and the advanced monitoring platform, EMFLU-2.
