KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: His Excellency President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of the Republic of Senegal arrived in the country this evening on an official visit, accompanied by a senior official delegation.

At the airport, His Excellency was received by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister.

Also present to welcome the Senegalese President were His Excellency Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan; His Excellency Sheikh Dr Basel Hamoud Al-Malik Al-Sabah, Advisor at the Prime Minister’s Diwan and Head of the Honorary Accompanying Delegation; and Ambassador Nayef Mohammed Al-Mudhaf, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for African Affairs.

President Faye is accompanied by an official delegation that includes Mr Ahmadou Aminou Lo, Minister in charge of Monitoring, Steering, and Evaluation of the National Transformation Agenda “Senegal 2050”; Mr Cheikh Niang, Minister of African Integration, Foreign Affairs, and Senegalese Abroad; Mr Cheikh Diba, Minister of Finance and Budget; Mr Cheikh Tidiane Diagne, Minister of Water and Sanitation; along with several senior officials from the Republic of Senegal.
