Kuwait vs South Korea ends in a draw

KUWAIT CITY, July 16: The Kuwait national team tied with South Korea 26-26 in the first round of the group competitions in the 17th Asian Men’s Juniors Handball Championship hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain. The match, which was held at Khalifa Sports Hall. Both teams displayed excellent technical performance. Both the teams shared the points, one each.

Earlier Saudi Arabia topped the group after defeating Iran 32 – 28 and won two points. The tournament started on Friday where eight teams were participating. The championship will continue until July 24. As per the rule first and second place from each group will qualify for the semi-finals. In addition will qualify directly for the World Cup which will be held in Germany and Greece next year.(KUNA)
