KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: The Kuwait Volleyball Premier League resumes today after a lengthy break, with two matches marking the continuation of the preliminary round of the 2025–26 season at the Kuwait Volleyball Association Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Sports Complex.

Al-Sahel faces Al-Nasr in the opening match at 5 pm, while Kazma meets Qadsia in the evening’s second fixture at 7 pm.

The competition has been on hold since early March due to developments in the Gulf region, with clubs now preparing to complete the remaining matches of the season.

The return to action will allow teams to regain their rhythm and match fitness after the extended interruption, while strengthening their bids for the league crown. Others will aim to improve their positions and secure a place among the top finishers.

The battle is expected to intensify in the coming rounds, not only for the championship but also for second and third place. With the top three teams earning the right to represent Kuwait in international competitions, the stakes will be high as the league enters its decisive phase.
