KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: The Kuwait Volleyball Federation will honor the national U-17 team this evening at a ceremony at its headquarters in the Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Sports Complex, celebrating the team’s third-place finish and bronze medal at the Arab U-17 Championship in Bahrain.
The federation’s board will join the players in celebrating their achievement and recognizing their efforts throughout the tournament, where they produced impressive performances that highlighted the progress of Kuwaiti volleyball at the youth level.
The ceremony reflects the federation’s continued focus on developing national teams and encouraging young players to maintain their commitment and progress. Age-group teams are regarded as the foundation for the future of Kuwaiti volleyball and an important source of talent for upcoming Gulf, Arab, and Asian competitions.
Kuwait’s U-17 side enjoyed a strong campaign in Bahrain, securing a place on the podium after a series of solid displays. The bronze medal also rewards the efforts of the coaching and administrative teams, as well as the players’ dedication during preparations and throughout the competition.
Federation officials emphasized the need to build on the achievement by continuing to develop the players’ technical and physical skills. The long-term goal is to produce a new generation capable of representing Kuwait at major international competitions and contributing to the national teams in the years ahead.
