KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: The final four teams in the Kuwait Volleyball Federation Championship have been confirmed following the conclusion of the preliminary round, held at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex.

In a thrilling finale, Kuwait Club edged past Kazma in a marathon five-set battle (3-2) with scores of 31-29, 25-21, 21-25, 23-25, 17-15. Meanwhile, Qadsia cruised to a 3-0 win over Al-Shabab (25-14, 25-19, 25-20), Al-Arabi defeated Al-Nasr (25-20, 25-13, 25-18), and Sulaibikhat swept Al-Yarmouk (25-22, 25-18, 25-13).

At the end of the round, Kuwait Club topped the standings with 20 points, narrowly ahead of Kazma in second and Qadsia in third on set difference. Burgan followed in fourth place with 15 points, while Al-Shabab finished with 11, Al-Arabi and Sulaibikhat each earned 8, Al-Yarmouk had 6, and Al-Nasr ended without points.

The semifinals will be held tomorrow, featuring Kuwait Club against Burgan at 5:00 p.m., followed by Kazma versus Qadsiya at 7:00 p.m. The winners will advance to the championship final scheduled for October 30.
