Al-Merri and Al-Nimsh take part in Kuwait Volleyball Federation meeting.

KUWAIT CITY, June 1: The general assemblies of the Kuwait Volleyball Association and Kuwait Basketball Association approved their financial and administrative reports and endorsed their plans for the 2026-2027 season during meetings held at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex.

The Volleyball Association's assembly, chaired by President Dr. Jaber Al-Merri and attended by Secretary-General Talal Al-Nimsh and representatives of member clubs, ratified the reports for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, and approved the federation's roadmap for the upcoming season.

Members reviewed the federation's activities, achievements, and financial performance before giving their approval. The assembly also authorized the Board of Directors to appoint an auditor for the new fiscal year in line with governing regulations.

Attendees stressed the importance of further developing local competitions and enhancing national team programs to support the continued growth of Kuwaiti volleyball.

Dr. Al-Merri commended the clubs for their cooperation and constructive participation, expressing confidence that the coming season would witness greater achievements.

Meanwhile, the Basketball Association's ordinary general assembly approved its financial and administrative reports, as well as the proposed budget and action plan for the 2026-2027 fiscal year.

The meeting was attended by club delegates and members of the Board of Directors headed by President Dhari Burjas, who thanked the clubs for their support and for endorsing the federation's budget and strategic plans for the next season.
