Kuwait Urges To Stop Using Recalled Bebelac and Aptamil Infant Formula

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 27: Authorities in Kuwait have issued an urgent food safety alert, urging consumers to immediately stop using certain batches of infant formula produced by Danone Nutricia. The precautionary recall comes after follow-up reports via the Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) raised concerns over the potential presence of Cereulide, a toxin that can pose health risks.

The Food Safety Authority has instructed distributors to halt the distribution of all affected batches and work closely with the company to ensure a complete recall. Consumers are advised to check product batch numbers carefully and stop using any matching products.

The company has described this as a voluntary precautionary measure to protect consumer health. Authorities are closely monitoring the recall process and urge the public to report any issues with these products immediately.
