Kuwait Urges Public to Avoid Filming Missile Interceptions or Security Personnel on Duty

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 28: The Ministry of Interior has issued a statement stressing that all incidents are managed according to strict security plans and protocols, overseen by competent authorities, to safeguard the nation’s stability and the safety of all residents.

The Ministry urged the public to refrain from filming missile interceptions or security personnel while on duty and posting such material on social media. Authorities warned that doing so could cause public anxiety, disrupt security operations, and contribute to the spread of inaccurate information.

“All content circulated on electronic platforms is monitored, and legal measures will be strictly enforced against those spreading rumors or false information,” the statement said.

The Ministry called on citizens and residents to exercise caution, avoid reacting to unverified claims, and rely solely on information from official and accredited sources to protect public security and uphold national responsibility.
