Kuwait University Robotics Team wins Excellence Award at VEX Championship

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 24: The Kuwait University Robotics Team recorded a remarkable achievement by winning the Excellence Award in the university category at the VEX Robotics competition, a flagship event within the Kuwait National Robotics Championship.

The championship, organized by the College of Science at the University, witnessed huge participation from educational institutions and student teams representing various academic levels. This accomplishment affirmed the sustained scientific and technological commitment demonstrated by the students.

The team exhibited exceptional professionalism in robot design and programming, coupled with advanced capabilities in overcoming complex engineering challenges. They further distinguished themselves through outstanding teamwork and collaboration, while fully complying with the stringent international standards governing educational robotics competitions. Dr. Haider Behbehani, acting Dean of the College of Science, described the team’s triumph as a national achievement that highlights the advanced caliber of the University students in the fields of science, technology and innovation. The dean credited this success to the students’ exceptional scientific and technical dedication.
