KUWAIT CITY, Nov 29: Kuwait University Director Dr. Dina Al-Maim on Saturday reaffirmed the university's commitment to conducting well-organized examinations and continuously developing its services to ensure quality and discipline.
The statement came during a field visit to the colleges of Sabah Al-Salem University City, where Dr. Al-Maim monitored the implementation of the second-chance academic aptitude tests. A record 9,513 male and female students registered for the exams, using both paper-based and electronic systems. She also reviewed the procedures within the designated testing halls.
After meeting with students, their parents, and members of the supervising committees, Dr. Al-Maim assessed the readiness of the teams and the effectiveness of the organizational measures. She noted that this year marked the largest number of participants in the history of the academic aptitude tests.
“We are committed to providing a safe and comprehensive learning environment, prioritizing the safety and comfort of our students by preparing the halls and facilitating smooth procedures,” she said, praising the efforts of supervising committees across the colleges for ensuring the success of the tests.
The academic aptitude tests cover three main subjects — Arabic, English, and mathematics — and aim to measure students’ readiness for different academic specializations while ensuring fairness and transparency in the admissions process. The exams are conducted in two sessions according to a schedule that allows for smooth entry, exit, and the overall running of the testing process.
