KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: The scene that ensued following the student elections at the College of Education has mobilized the university administration to hold meetings to prevent the recurrence of these rowdy scenes among students which has sabotaged the democratic nature of the elections at the university, reports Al-Qabas daily. Well-informed sources revealed that the university administration represented by sectors related to student elections, led by the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Security and Safety Department held meetings recently, to develop solutions to ensure that scenes of altercations between students are not repeated, whether verbal or physical.

The sources indicated that, starting today, the university administration will prevent large student gatherings, without specifying a number, while emphasizing the right of students to express their opinions freely, but without this leading to friction, stressing the activation of university regulations and sanctions against violating students, including that chapter if necessary.
