KUWAIT CITY, Nov 11: Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi stated that the Supreme Committee for “Visit Kuwait” events and activities serves as a national umbrella to unify efforts and enhance coordination among relevant entities in organizing tourism, cultural, and entertainment events, reports Al-Seyassah daily. This was announced in a press statement issued by the Ministry of Information on Monday, following Minister Al-Mutairi chairing the first meeting of the Supreme Committee for “Visit Kuwait” events and activities at the Ministry’s headquarters.

The meeting was attended by committee members, including representatives from state institutions, civil society, and the private sector involved in tourism. In the statement, Al-Mutairi emphasized that this step reflects the ministry’s vision to support national tourism and showcase Kuwait’s cultural and humanitarian identity within the framework of the New Kuwait 2035 vision. The meeting discussed the action plan for the upcoming phase, implementation mechanisms, and joint cooperation among member entities. The goal is to ensure coordinated efforts, unified promotional messaging, and a positive impact of events on the national economy, while boosting tourism and strengthening public-private partnerships to develop the “Visit Kuwait” platform.
