Kuwait, Turkiye to upgrade cooperation in civil aviation

KUWAIT CITY, June 10: Director General of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah discussed on Wednesday with Turkish Ambassador to Kuwait Tuba Nur Sonmez ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation. In a statement for KUNA, PACA said that the meeting reviewed existing cooperation between Kuwait and Turkiye and explored means of further developing bilateral relations in support of air transport and the exchange of technical and operational expertise. The two sides also discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the civil aviation sector in a manner that contributes to improving services and raising performance levels in line with international standards and best practices. Both sides underscored the importance of continuing joint coordination and cooperation to further strengthen ties between the two friendly countries and expand partnership prospects in areas related to civil aviation.(KUNA)
