Kuwait Triathlon Club dominate Champ’ships

UWAIT CITY, May 22: The players of the Kuwait Triathlon Club achieved a great win of 7 gold medals and two silver medals during their participation in the 2023 Sharm El-Sheikh AT African Cup and the 2023 Pan Arab Championships, which had recently concluded in Sharm El-Sheikh in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The winners of the medals for the male and female triathlon champions were as follows: Noura Al-Barrak, Fi Al-Mulla, Lulwa Al-Rifai, Huda Al-Saleh and Jassim Al-Rajeeb won gold medals in the category for all age groups in the Arab Championship. Saleh Al-Ruzaihan and Jassim Al-Rajeeb won silver medals in the category for all age groups in the Arab Championship. Huda Al-Saleh won the gold medal in the the category for all age groups in the African Cup.

Head of the delegation from the Kuwait Triathlon Club in the African Cup and the Arab Championships in Sharm El-Sheikh Sufyan Al- Khalil praised the achievement of the Kuwaiti champions in the Arab and African forums. He affirmed that this achievement did not come from a vacuum, but was the result of the great work and efforts exerted by the players and the financial support and morale from the Kuwait Triathlon Club headed by Rashid Al-Kandari.

Al-Khalil said, “The triathlon players have proven their high standing in the international competitions. This is evidence of the development taking place in the game and the interest of the triathlon leaders in raising the level and competence of the Kuwaiti champions before any international participation.” He thanked the club, the Public Authority for Sports and the Olympic Committee of Kuwait for supporting the game and the national team in the African Cup and the Arab Championship.
