KUWAIT CITY, Jun 19: Kuwait’s Traffic Department has issued new reminders on towing requirements, urging motorists to follow safety regulations when towing trailers or marine vessels on roads.

Authorities said vehicles involved in towing must not exceed a maximum speed of 80 km/h, remain on the right side of the road, carry required safety equipment and reflective tape, and ensure all lights are functioning properly.

The Traffic Department also warned that towing more than one marine vessel behind a vehicle is strictly prohibited. Violating vehicles, along with their trailers or marine vessels, will be impounded for 60 days under Article 207 of the Executive Regulations.

The department urged drivers to comply with towing regulations to ensure road safety and avoid legal penalties.
