KUWAIT CITY, Aug. 4: Jahra traffic patrol officers have detained a man in his thirties after catching him driving at 180 km/h on the Jahra Expressway between the Qairawan and Doha areas.

According to a traffic source, officers conducting a mobile radar operation spotted the vehicle traveling at excessive speed and pursued the driver before stopping him.

The driver was issued a traffic citation and transferred to the traffic detention center pending referral to court.
