KUWAIT CITY, Aug 17: Kuwait’s General Traffic Administration has launched a traffic campaign targeting violations related to vehicle conditions and traffic regulations, resulting in the seizure of 115 vehicles and the issuance of numerous violations.

The campaign, carried out by the Security Supervision Department, recorded 115 direct violations and five indirect violations. The offending vehicles were referred to the traffic detention garage, where they will be held for 30 days in accordance with regulations, while legal action was taken against their drivers.

The General Traffic Administration said its inspection campaigns will continue to ensure motorists comply with traffic rules and regulations and to enhance road safety.

Authorities stressed that the ongoing enforcement efforts are aimed at reducing traffic violations and protecting the safety of all road users.
