Kuwait to experience warm days, cool nights over the weekend
Kuwait’s Meteorological Department forecasts warm to mild days and cool to cold nights this weekend.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 20: Kuwait’s weather is expected to be generally warm to mild during the day and cool to cold at night over the weekend, the Meteorological Department said on Wednesday.

Acting Director Dharar Al-Ali told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the country is currently under the influence of an extension of a high-pressure system from the northwest, accompanied by a relatively moderate and dry air mass. Temperatures are expected to slightly decrease, with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, occasionally becoming brisk.

Al-Ali said Thursday’s daytime weather will be mild, with northwesterly winds ranging from 12 to 42 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures are expected between 27 and 29 degrees Celsius. The sea will be slight to moderate, occasionally rough, with waves ranging from 2 to 6 feet. Thursday night will be cool, with minimum temperatures between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius, and winds from 8 to 40 kilometers per hour along coastal areas.

For Friday, daytime temperatures are forecasted between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius with light to moderate northwesterly winds at 12–38 kilometers per hour. Friday night will be cool, with minimum temperatures of 11–13 degrees Celsius, and winds between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour. The sea will remain slight to moderate with waves from 2 to 5 feet by day and 2 to 4 feet at night.

Al-Ali said Saturday will be mild, with maximum temperatures of 26–28 degrees Celsius and northwesterly to variable winds at 10–32 kilometers per hour. Saturday night will be cool to cold, with minimum temperatures of 12–14 degrees Celsius and winds ranging from 8 to 28 kilometers per hour. Sea conditions are expected to be slight to moderate, with waves between 1 and 4 feet during the day and 1–3 feet at night.
