KUWAIT CITY, Dec 31: A security source has revealed that the Ministry of Interior is taking steps to deport several Asian expatriates following incidents of reckless driving involving luxury vehicles in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area.

The source stressed that such conduct is entirely unacceptable and poses a serious threat to public safety. The Ministry of Interior, the source said, will act decisively against any behavior that endangers lives or damages property and will not hesitate to enforce the law against violators.

Earlier, the Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of several Asian expatriates who were seen engaging in dangerous driving in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. The arrests followed the circulation of a widely shared video on social media showing reckless behavior on public roads. (click here to view video)

In an official statement issued on Monday, the ministry said security forces from the Farwaniya Security Directorate’s Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh District Command responded immediately after the video went viral. Upon arriving at the location near a private school, authorities discovered that the gathering had been organized to celebrate the end of first-semester examinations.

Security personnel recorded the license plate numbers of the vehicles involved and identified the drivers. Investigations revealed that the cars used in the incident were rented. The individuals, along with the seized vehicles, were referred to the competent authorities, where all necessary legal procedures were initiated.

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed that reckless driving represents a serious risk to public safety and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. It also emphasized that security agencies will continue to monitor social media platforms for traffic and public safety violations and will take strict legal action against anyone found responsible.
