Kuwait to Carry Out Death Sentences Against Five Convicts in Coming Days

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 19: Kuwait’s prison authorities are set to carry out death sentences against five convicted prisoners in the coming days.

The executions will reportedly include three Kuwaiti citizens, one Bedoon (Stateless) , and one Egyptian national. The statement attributed the implementation of the sentences to Kuwait’s correctional institutions.

Authorities have not released further details regarding the identities of those convicted or the cases that led to the death sentences.

The announcement comes as Kuwait continues to enforce capital punishment following final court rulings and completion of legal procedures.
