Kuwait Thwarts Aerial Threats, Intercepts Multiple Drones
Kuwait National Guard releases servicemen serving disciplinary sentences for Eid Al-Adha.

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 30: Kuwait’s National Guard announced the successful interception and downing of five unmanned aerial vehicles, including one drone and four UAVs, within areas secured by its Task Force, according to an official statement released on Monday.

Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadel Jadaan, the official spokesperson for the National Guard, said the operation forms part of ongoing efforts to safeguard vital installations and reinforce national security amid heightened regional tensions.

He urged the public to strictly follow safety and security guidelines issued by relevant authorities, emphasizing the importance of public cooperation during such situations.

The spokesperson further confirmed that National Guard forces, in coordination with the army, police, and the General Fire Force, remain on high alert and fully prepared to respond to any threats. He stressed that security agencies are committed to firmly countering any attempts to undermine the country’s stability, while ensuring the protection of Kuwait’s sovereignty and national interests.
