KUWAIT, March 13: The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry on Sunday expressed terse condemnation of the missile attack that targeted the city of Irbil in Iraq's Kurdistan Region, inflicting "material and humanitarian losses." The ministry, in a statement, expressed solidarity of the State of Kuwait with the brotherly Republic of Iraq, supporting measures it may take to safeguard its security and stability.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Sunday claimed responsibility for the attack targeting northern Iraqi governorate of Irbil, which left in its wake damage and casualties. The IRGC said in statement that they targeted an "Israeli" facility, and it warned Israel against vile acts saying they will be met with strong decisive responses from Iran, reported the official Iranian news agency (IRNA). Local authorities in Irbil affirmed that several missiles hit areas near the airport and some buildings for the American consulate (KUNA)
