KUWAIT CITY, July 12: Head of Kuwait Teachers Society Mute’e Al-Ajmi revealed that the society does not accept the decision of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to enforce fingerprint attendance system on the educational staff members at Ministry of Education, reports Al-Rai daily.

In a press statement, he explained that the reasons for this are the special nature of the educational profession and the task of technical supervision which necessitates daily tours to schools especially those in remote locations such as Khairan and Sabah Al-Ahmed.

Al-Ajmi affirmed that the society had addressed Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohammad Al-Fares to coordinate with CSC in this regard.
