Kuwait Takes Down 559 Expats in Visa Law Violation Sweep

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: In an ongoing effort to uphold security standards, morning and evening security campaigns have been heightened across various regions. The Residence Investigation officers in Farwaniya, Fahaheel, Mahboula, Al-Mangaf, Kabd, Salmiya, Hawally, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and Jabriya recently targeted violators of the Residency and Work Law.

The comprehensive inspection campaigns conducted by the Ministry of Interior in specified areas, including Farwaniya, Fahaheel, Mahboula, Al-Mangaf, Kabd, Salmiya, Hawally, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and Jabriya, these operations resulted in the arrest of 559 expats from various nationalities. Among those detained, 3 were found working in a fake servants’ office, and 6 were involved in the management of two unlicensed warehouses. Legal measures are currently underway against all offenders, and they will be duly referred to the appropriate authorities.
