Tajikistan’s Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment Soleha Kholmahmadzoda meets Kuwait’s ambassador in Dushanbe Mohammad Al-Ameeri.

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 16: Tajikistan’s Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment Soleha Kholmahmadzoda held talks on Wednesday with Kuwait’s ambassador in Dushanbe Mohammad Al-Ameeri, focusing on efforts to ratchet up cooperation over the workforce and labor market. The talks looked into plans to recruit “qualified” Tajik workers to ply their trade in Kuwait’s private sector, subsequently allowing Kuwait to benefit from the technical skills of the Tajik workforce, the minister said. The Kuwaiti envoy said that his country would work alongside Tajikistan in a bid to facilitate the recruitment of Tajik workers, in line with a 2024 bilateral agreement over workforce exchange that was signed in the wake of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon’s visit to Kuwait.(KUNA)
